Friendly Fires helps raise $19,000 for families in need

Friendly Fires loves helping out local charities. There are many worthy causes out there and although we can’t contribute to each one that asks we do try to do as many as we can. In today’s post we highlight the Society of St Vincent De Paul. For an overview of our charitable work please see our Community Service page.

Feeding those in need

The Society of St Vincent de Paul is a local charity that is dedicated to feeding the homeless and those in need. Each month they feed up to 2000 people from their food bank and kitchens.

Each year the society holds a Moonlight Masquerade Fundraiser. This year Friendly Fires contributed an electric log-splitter to their charity auction. We’re happy to say that the society was able to raise over $6000, and we are proud to have been able to contribute to the cause.
