Technical Retail Sales

Do you have a technical background (hearth & HVAC preferred) and are looking for an opportunity to work in house?  As a technical sales account manager, you will be responsible for representing Friendly Fires’ product and services (fireplaces & BBQs) for both retail and trade accounts.  The successful candidate is technical, wants to deliver excellent customer service, and is not afraid to knock on doors.  Friendly Fires provides an in house sales training program, so previous sales experience is not required.  Apply in confidence below.

 

Installation Crew Lead – Fireplaces (wood & pellet) 

As a wood & pellet installer, you will report to the Service Manager and be responsible for installing and troubleshooting wood & pellet appliances.  The ideal candidate is prepared to follow the Friendly Fire’s standard Operating Procedures with respect to installation and service, is used to leaving areas cleaner than before the installation is performed, and is able to communicate clearly with customers.  Heavy-lifting, longer hours during peak season and WETT certifications would be a requirement.  Apply in confidence below.

Installation Crew Apprentice

As an Installation Crew Apprentice, you will be responsible in assisting the Crew Lead in ensuring safe, efficient and high quality installations.  You will also be expected to learn and develop your skills in order to become a Crew Lead at a later date.  You will follow the direction of and assist the Crew Lead in all aspects of installations.  You will refer to manufacturer’s manuals, technical schematics and all applicable building codes.  The ideal candidate has a G2 or G3 gas fitters license (or WETT certified), is comfortable working outside, on roofs and in all types of weather, has good reading/writing skills and excellent customer service skills and must be able to lift heavy objects.  Apply in confidence below.
