Belleville Grand Opening a Great Success!

Our newest location in Belleville held a three day Grand Opening Celebration last month which was a great success!

Belleville Grand Opening | Friendly FiresThe festivities kicked off on Thursday evening where with a ribbon cutting by Belleville Mayor Taso Christopher and members of the Belleville and Prince Edward County chambers of commerce.

A silent auction was held with many great items up for bid including fireplaces, grills, pizza ovens, and more – and we ended up raising over $5000 for Quinte Search and Rescue (QSAR) a fantastic local charity whose tagline is “volunteers saving lives on the water”. Please check out their great work at quintesearchandrescue.ca.

Thanks to Alan from Napoleon for keeping the crowd fed and Keinte-He Winery & Vineyard was on hand giving samples of their wonderful wine.

Festivities carried on through to Friday and Saturday with great deals in the store, and with local radio stations on-hand broadcasting live. Napoleon was back again with their Test Drive Event allowing customers to get experience cooking on a professional grill. Folk band Cellar Door were also on hand to perform for the crowd.

All in all it was a wonderful celebration and we are proud to be a part of the wonderful community of Belleville. Please drop into our newest Friendly Fires location at 69 Dundas St E in Belleville just across the road from the Dairy Queen. Store manager Shaun Stickle and Sales Representative Darren Lariviere would be happy to see you!
