Friendly Fires loves helping out local charities. There are many worthy causes out there and although we can’t contribute to each one that asks we do try to do as many as we can. In today’s post we highlight the Society of St Vincent De Paul. For an overview of our charitable work please see our Community Service page.
Feeding those in need
The Society of St Vincent de Paul is a local charity that is dedicated to feeding the homeless and those in need. Each month they feed up to 2000 people from their food bank and kitchens.
Each year the society holds a Moonlight Masquerade Fundraiser. This year Friendly Fires contributed an electric log-splitter to their charity auction. We’re happy to say that the society was able to raise over $6000, and we are proud to have been able to contribute to the cause.
Masquerade in the Moonlight
The Moonlight Masquerade Fundraiser is a chance for people to have fun while raising money for a great cause. Here are a few highlights from the event.
Plus, a big thank you to the unknown stranger who purchased the log splitter!
Friendly Fires has a long history of giving back to the community, we realize that a vibrant & thriving community benefits everyone. We are always interested in partnering with local charities and are very open to using our showrooms to host events.
