After several months of searching for 2 fireplaces, I discovered that most Fireplace outlets had little knowledge of their products, had little to no product on site, expected you to spend several thousand dollars on a special order fireplace just from a pamphlet, couldn’t answer the concerns I had & encouraged cash and carry which would result in no after sales service. My dental hygienist recommended Friendly Fires in Cobourg. What a difference! The concept of practical heating solutions, APPEARANCE, and competitive pricing was not a foreign concept to HAYLEY at Friendly Fires. She understood the idea of “Zone Heating”, was up to date on “Radiant Heating” and knew what each of her products offered. I wanted to be cozy in my “living areas”, less start ups from my furnace, heat when there was a power outage, and wanted everything to look spectacular. Haley delivered on every level! Their service installers explained everything along the way, protected my floors, cleaned up and were totally professional. Several weeks ago, I was in the market for a new ceramic bbq. My attention turned to the Primo Oval series. A friend recommended to me Friendly Fires based out of Kingston (I live in Ottawa), having researched the company, I fired off an email and was surprised by the prompt follow up regarding a quote, stock and other various questions.

I determined that the Primo Oval XL was too large for my family, and the small, well, too small. I wanted to see the Primo Oval Large in person.

As it turned out, Friendly Fires was the only location around the National Capital that had the Large in stock and on display at their new location in Carleton Place. I could not take the time off of work during the week to visit their showroom, so they offered to make a private appointment for me on a Sunday.

Three emails later, my Primo Oval Large was delivered to my home in downtown Ottawa. The Friendly Fires team drove through the worst of the City’s rush hour traffic, arrived on time. They unloaded my new bbq and moved it to the backyard. They spent the extra time to assemble the parts to ensure I knew what I was doing.

From start to finish, Friendly Fires in Carleton Place bent over backwards to accommodate my family. I have never before received such customer service.

Hi Curtis!

I just wanted to express our thanks. Your young men are courteous, efficient, and friendly.

My husband has been away much of the time they have been here today, but they explained things very well. They did a great job removing the EF3 pellet stove and installing the Kozy Lakefield propane stove and hook -up to the BBQ. All is pretty much cleaned up as well!
