Dear Eric,

Thank you for calling to see if we were happy with our new gas fireplace. It is working well and it is nice to feel warm after so much cold.
This probably means we are due for some unseasonably warm weather!

We are very pleased with the look of the upstairs chimney which will give us more room in our den.
David and Jeremy covered the floors with tarps, worked well and did a good job of clean up. We were especially impressed with David who did the main fireplace installation while Jeremy did the upstairs and outside venting so we didn’t see as much of him.
They were both good workers and very polite but David also explained how things were set up and sat down with us to explain how to program the remote and where to look in the manual if we had questions. He also told us about annual service and fan settings.

We are very impressed.

The pellet stove works beautifully……heat from stove is lovely…hot….awesome.

The gentlemen that were here were very good, cleaned and vacuumed out the entire stove. They were also very accommodating as I messed up their day, it didn’t ruffle any feathers , they just showed up a bit later….did an excellent job.

Very very very pleased with the service!

We love our new red enamel wood stove! We were looking for a unit that would heat our main floor and it does perfectly. Curtis at Friendly Fires helped us pick the perfect stove for our needs and we are most appreciative! Thank you for your listening! The entire process was very efficient from the store to the boys who delivered the unit to our place. A tricky spot too. Many stairs to deal with outside and all the fun of a cottage place!

Good evening Curtis,

After speaking to you on the phone earlier today, both Dana and I felt that a simple thank you was not sufficient, and did not convey the gratitude we have for all you have done for us. We are thrilled with our new fireplace insert, both in esthetics and function.

From our first meeting in the showroom, and the many that followed, to all the emails between us over the last 9 to 10 months, you have been nothing but professional, courteous and extremely patient with us. (mainly myself).

Your efficient staff is also to be commended. Everyone of them that came to our home, from the measuring, to the installation, and all through the malfunctioning insert, were respectful to us and our property, knowledgeable and helpful to us both. Our thanks also to Amanda, who unfortunately we never had the opportunity to meet.

Thanks for being so quick! We were able to use the fireplace last night for the first time with the permission granted from our home insurance company. We absolutely LOVE the unit and the heat it is giving out in small fires as in the break in period. We can’t wait to see what heat we receive with a big fire. It is rare that I send a letter giving praise. In the last few years it seems that everything that I purchase is defective or there is a problem with the delivery or installation.

On Wednesday two of your men came to my house and did a perfect job of installing our new gas fireplace. From the moment they got there they displayed great manners, sense of humour, care for our home and pride in their work. They bored through our foundation and stone and left practically no dust. When they left there was not a scrap of packaging or anything out of place.

Well, I can’t wait for fall comfort foods. I continue to enjoy experimenting with my oven. I wish I would take the time to capture everything that comes out of there, but too busy enjoying the process and everyone’s reaction.
