This is an OEM Door Gasket that is compatible with select BIS and Astria wood fireplaces (see applicable models below). This is a genuine BIS / Astria replacement part that will ship new in its original packaging, it is not an aftermarket copy.

Noteworthy: This door gasket does not come with  any gasket glue / cement to adhere the gasket to the door channel. You can purchase gasket cement here if needed.

Description: This is a genuine BIS replacement door gasket that fits several wood fireplace models. It measures 3/4″ thick and 73″ in length. When the stove door is closed the gasket helps to provide an airtight seal.  If you don’t have an air tight seal, more air will get into the firebox which will increase the rate at which you burn through wood.  A proper seal will increase the efficiency of your stove by a drastic amount.
