Part Description: This is a Robert Shaw natural gas (NG) gas valve that is compatible with select Empire fireplace models. A gas valve controls your gas flow, allowing your fireplace to ignite or extinguish safely, and may even be responsible for some of your fireplace’s features like remote operation
