This is an OEM propane gas valve that is found in select Empire wall furnaces (see applicable models below). This gas valve will ship new in its original packaging, it is not an aftermarket copy.

Part Description: This is a replacement propane (LP) gas valve for select Empire wall furnaces. In a gas wall furnace, the gas valve’s primary function is to control the flow of natural gas or propane to the burners, allowing the furnace to heat the home. It opens and closes based on thermostat signals, regulating gas pressure to maintain the desired temperature. The valve also includes safety features to prevent gas leaks and ensure safe operation. This is a Robertshaw gas valve that is for use with millivolt systems only.
