This is an OEM replacement rear air tube for the Enviro 1700 series wood stoves and wood inserts (see applicable models below).  This is a factory new part that ships in original packaging (this is not an after-market replica).

(please check part number as it may work in other Enviro wood burning fireplaces.)

Purpose: Secondary air tubes in wood burning appliances are designed to add preheated air to the top of the firebox.  The preheated air mixes with wood gases to create a clean burn ensuring optimal efficiency from your stove.  If they are damaged, cracked or deteriorating in any way, they should be replaced.

Installation tips:  Place a screwdriver (any style except flat head) into one of the air holes and tap it with a hammer/mallet to the left until the right end of the tube is freed. To install a secondary air tube, reverse the above instructions.

IMPORTANT: All secondary air tubes must be in place for proper operation.
