This is an OEM Enviro Cool Surface System Kit that is for use with the C Series Linear Gas Fireplaces. This kit will ship new in its original packaging – it is not an aftermarket equivalent.

IMPORTANT: If installing either of these kits – a blower cannot be installed on the unit; or it will need to be removed for the Cool Surface Kits to be installed properly / safely. 

Details: In the past, wall mounted televisions or treasured décor pieces would degrade over time from the excess rising heat produced by your gas fireplace. The Cool Surface System for the Enviro C Series allows you to make use of the valuable real estate directly above your linear gas fireplace. It can channel heat inside the wall and vent it out above, or on the sides, of the fireplace.

Front Vent Configuration vs Side Vent Configuration

• The front vent configuration channels heat behind the wall and up above the unit, a bezel opening allows excess heat to flow in to the room past any wall mounted valuables. This bezel can vary in height and width depending on model of fireplace and it is also paintable to match the location of installation.
• The side vent configuration includes two separate vents connected directly to the fireplace. The advantage to this style of installation is that these vents can be installed to face independent directions. The exposed vent bezels can be mounted horizontally or vertically and be painted to match the surrounding exterior wall, helping them to blend with the room décor.

Noteworthy:

• This kit does come with installation instructions. 
• Requires 5″ Aluminum Flex Venting. The Flex Venting is NOT included – but you can purchase a kit from the drop down menu if needed!
