Part Description: The Enviro 50-1390 is a replacement vacuum switch low pressure for Enviro Pellet Stoves. A vacuum switch in a pellet stove is a crucial safety device that detects adequate airflow through the venting system. By sensing the negative pressure (vacuum) generated by the exhaust fan, it confirms proper ventilation and keeps the fuel auger motor running. If the switch detects a lack of airflow due to blockages or leaks, it “trips” to an open circuit, which stops the fuel feed and shuts down the stove, preventing fires and ensuring safe operation.
