Part Description: This is a genuine replacement upper ash grate for the Hearthstone Equinox (Model 8000) wood stove. An upper ash grate in a wood stove is a solid grate, usually made of cast iron, that sits within the firebox and supports the burning wood while allowing ash to fall through to an ash pan below. It serves to improve airflow and combustion, and to provide a space for ash accumulation. 

Dimensions: This grate measures 15 1/2″ x 12 1/2″
