This is a genuine ICC Excel Chimney component, new in its original packaging.  This ICC chimney components comes with the full factory warranty.  The ICC Chimney Deluxe Rain Cap gets installed at the top of the ICC Chimney system.  ICC makes a few different styles of rain caps: Standard, Deluxe & High Wind.  This is the Deluxe Rain Cap.

ICC 7″ Deluxe Chimney Rain Cap (7EDRC) Description:

The rain cap gets installed at the top of the stainless steel chimney and functions to keep the elements from entering the chimney.  The ‘Deluxe’ version has an extra band around the rain cap to help prevent criters (birds, etc..) from entering the chimney system.

EDRC: The deluxe cap (this page) is made from .025″ thick type 304 stainless steel and carries a lifetime 100% full replacement warranty.
ERCS: An optional stainless steel spark screen is available for installations where sparks can pose a safety problem.
ERCW: The optional wind and rain shield improves draft by up to 40% in windy conditions and is very effective at preventing wind driven rain from entering the chimney. It bolts to the existing holes in either the regular or deluxe cap.
ERRC : The revolving rain cap helps to prevent the entry of wind driven rain and helps to prevent wind induced downdrafts.
