This is an official ICC Pellet Vent Wind & Rain Shield for vertical installations.  This product ships new in its original ICC packaging, it is not an aftermarket equivalent.

Notes: These rain caps are meant to provide an extra protection against the wind and rain. They are not always necessary given your climate. If you think you do not need the extra protection, you can find the standard caps here.

Installation Notes: Although ICC Excel Pellet Vent does not require silicone on its joints, its recommended that the end cap have silicone applied in order to prevent smoke back into the home.  In addition, although ICC has pellet vent jet termination caps, Friendly Fires does not recommend these as they can plug up (we find the  45 degree termination works better).
