Product Description
Friendly Fires stocks and recommends ICC EXCELiner rigid stainless steel liner system for many different applications.
ICC EXCEL Increasers & Decreasers
ICC EXCELiner manufacturers different increasers and reducers for rigid stainless steel liner systems. As a GENERAL rule, the ‘Crimped’ side is the one nearest to the appliance.
Increaser Part Numbers (CR is the size closest to the stove)
- 5″ CR to 6″: LI56
- 5.5″CR to 6″: LI556
- 6″CR to 7″: LI67
- 7″CR to 8″: LI78
Reducer Part Numbers (CR is the size closest to the stove)
- 6″ CR to 5″: LR65
- 7″CR to 6″: LR76
- 8″CR to 7″: LR87
Please Note: The reason that the crimped end is nearest to your stove or appliance is that as creosote leaks down the inside of your venting, it REMAINS inside the pipe. Sometimes home owners reverse the crimps in their installation in order to keep smoke inside the pipe – this is NOT the correct way to install wood smoke pipe or stainless steel liners systems.
