This is an OEM Invicta Door Rope Gasket that is compatible with most Invicta wood stove models.  This is a genuine Invicta replacement part that will ship new in its original packaging, it is not an aftermarket copy.

Important: This gasket kit does NOT come with high temperature glue to adhere the gasket to the door.  You may want to purchase gasket cement – which is sold separately.

Installation Tips: Ensure to remove your old gasket with a wire brush and clean the channel properly before applying the new gasket and some glue.  Some customers put masking tape around the gasket ends to ensure a tight seal where the two ends meet in order to prevent gasket fraying.

Purpose: Once installed and as the door is tightly closed, it is designed to flatten and fill the space between the door and the wood stove frame for an airtight seal.
