Product Description

This is an OEM Modern Flames Step Motor (01-00012) that is found in select Modern Flames RedStone electric fireplaces (see applicable models below). This is a genuine Modern Flames replacement part that will ship new in its original packaging, it is not an aftermarket copy.

Modern Flames Part Number: 01-00012 (Same as 0100012)

Part Description: This is a genuine replacement step motor (also referred to as a “stepper motor”) that works with select Modern Flames RedStone electric fireplaces.  In electric fireplaces, stepper motors can be used to:
  • Control the movement of the flame effect (e.g., simulating the movement of real flames)
  • Adjust the angle or position of the fireplace screen or other decorative elements
  • Operate other motorized features of the fireplace
