This is an OEM Morso Door Gasket Kit that is compatible with most Morso wood stoves.  This part ships new in its original packaging, it is not an aftermarket equivalent.

Description: The OEM replacement door gasket kit for the majority of Morso wood stoves. This kit includes the high temperature adhesive needed to seal the gasket to the door. In most cases, it also has contains enough gasket to do the ash doors as well. It measures 8 mm x 3 meters.

Applicable Models: 

• Fits all Morso Models EXCEPT FOR 6600 Series Stoves

Purpose: The door gasket helps to create an air tight seal when the door is closed. If the gasket is old and falling apart it should be replaced.

Installation Tips: Ensure the stove is completely cool before replacing the gasket.  First remove the old gasket and make sure to clean out all the debris from the channel. Warm water and steel wool is a good combination for removal. Apply a medium size bead of the gasket glue all around the channel and start from one corner and work the gasket all the way around the channel.  Be careful not to stretch the gasket while doing this, just gently press it in.
