These are OEM Napoleon Charcoal Embers (W550-0001) for several models of Napoleon Gas Fireplaces (see applicable models below). These Napoleon embers ship new in their original Napoleon packaging (they are not an aftermarket equivalent).  These are genuine Napoleon glowing fireplace embers.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Many of the medium-to-large sized fireplaces will require (2) or (3) packages for a complete replacement.

Part Description: These are genuine charcoal embers media that can be used in your gas fireplace units, to give a unique cosmetic look.  They enhance the flame of your Napoleon fireplace in either gas or propane.  These make the flame look nicer and make give the fire a more realistic look.  Some Napoleon fireplace models require these charcoal embers for a proper burn (they direct the air flow for a clean burn).  These do wear out after years, and need to be replaced regularly.
