This is an OEM Napoleon PSE Pilot Assembly in natural gas that is found in many Napoleon gas fireplaces (see applicable models below). This is a genuine replacement part that will ship new in its original packaging- it is not an aftermarket equivalent.

Part Description: This is a genuine replacement natural gas pilot assembly that is found in several Napoleon gas fireplaces. In a gas fireplace, the pilot assembly’s main function is to ensure a consistent, safe ignition source for the main burner. It generally consists of a pilot light, a thermocouple (or thermopile), and sometimes an igniter. The pilot light provides the initial flame, and the thermocouple (or thermopile) detects the flame and signals the gas valve to stay open. This safety mechanism prevents gas leaks if the pilot flame is extinguished.
