This is an  OEM replacement SBI Cast Baffle for the Osburn 1600 Wood Stove and Wood Insert.  This baffle ships new in its original packaging, it is not an aftermarket equivalent.

Part Description: Top baffle replacement for the Osburn 1600 Wood Stove & Wood Insert.  These baffles are SOLD INDIVIDUALLY, but the stove requires 2 for a full replacement. You can select (1) or (2) replacement baffles from the drop down menu to suit your needs.   This baffle measures13-7/16″ x 10″ x 1-1/4″.

Applicable Osburn Models:

• Osburn 1600 Wood Stove & Wood Insert (Post 2008 models)

It is possible this baffle may work with other models as well. Please check the part numbers in your stoves manual.

Purpose: Top Baffles in wood burning appliances are designed to keep the heat inside the firebox to ensure a clean burn.  They also protect the top of the appliance from over heating.  If they are damaged, cracked or deteriorating in any way, they should be replaced.

Installation tips: Often there is a trick in replacing top baffles.  It will take some time and patience.  You will need to remove the secondary air tubes in order to access the top baffle.

Other Notes: One only – most appliances require two of these.  This official SBI part is for one only.
