This is an OEM Pacific Energy Baffle Pin Gasket that is found in many Pacific Energy wood stoves and inserts (see applicable models below). This is a genuine Pacific Energy replacement part that ships new in its original packaging, it is not an aftermarket copy.
PE Part Number: 80000364 (replaced old part numbers SSER.125001 & 125001 in 2019)
Applicable Models: Pacific Energy Vista, Vista Classic, Alderlea T4, Super 27, Spectrum, Spectrum Classic, Alderlea T5, Summit, Summit Classic, and Alderlea T6 wood burning stoves. It also fits Vista wood burning inserts, Super Series wood burning inserts, and Summit wood burning inserts. If your model is not listed here, check your owners manual to see if the part will fit your fireplace as well.
Purpose: The baffle pin is designed to hold the baffle in place. Without the pin, the baffle could move when you put wood into the stove. With the baffle out of place it would cause the air to leak around the baffle, warping it and potential other parts of the stove.
Installation tips: Simply line up the two holes and put it in place. If the PE Baffle Pin does not fit (or line up) – you may require a new Pacific Energy Stainless Steel Baffle.
Other Notes: Used on all Pacific Energy Wood Burning Stoves and Inserts. It may make sense to replace the PE Baffle Gasket at the same time as the pin.
