This is an OEM Pacific Energy Flame Shield that works with select Vista series wood inserts. These are genuine Pacific Energy replacement parts new in original packaging.

Part Description: Flame shield for Vista Series of Pacific Energy Inserts (NOT PE Vista Wood Stoves). Note, this part was slightly changed by Pacific Energy, especially with older models. It is now Stainless Steel (older models it was mild steel). It is designed to retrofit to older Pacific Energy models.
Applicable Models:
Pacific Energy Vista Wood Inserts. Please check the part number in your manual, it may work in other Pacific Energy wood fireplaces.
Purpose: The flame shield is a replaceable part. In the older models it was mild steel, and Pacific Energy made the change to stainless steel a few years ago. The purpose of the shield is to take the “wear and tare” of the heat going around the stainless steel baffle. If it is damaged, cracked or deteriorating in any way, they should be replaced.
Installation tips: This flame shield has three holes for the bolt to go through, depending on the vintage of your Pacific Energy Stove, you may use only one of the holes, or two of the holes. It will take some time and patience.
Other Notes: The flame shield in the wood burning stoves are different in size and shape. Please see part #VIST.2115. Item is highlighted in yellow in product image.
