This is the replacement blower heat sensor for Pacific Energy wood stoves and wood inserts. This sensor controls the on/off for the blower. This fan sensor is compatible with many Pacific Energy models – see applicable models below.

Purpose
If you have a free standing Pacific Energy wood & gas burning stove (or insert) and it has a blower on it, they you most likely have this component as part of the blower kit. This part is a temperature control – once the wood burning stove reaches temperature, this snap disc allows the power to flow through it and to the blower. If the temperature of the stove drops, it shuts off the power to the blower. This part is often called a snap disc, fan sensor, theromdisc and thermoswitch.
Installation Tips
It is tricky and you may need to move the stove or the insert from the fireplace to replace this component.
Other Notes
Make sure you clean the blower every year.
