This is an official factory replacement brick side rail kit part from Pacific Energy.
Part Number: SUMM.RAILSET 80000406
Part Description: These are the stainless steel rails that are located to the left and right of the firebox.
Applicable Models: Pacific Energy Summit, Summit Classic and Alderlea T6 wood burning stoves (check the part number, it may work in other Pacific Energy wood burning stoves, Pacific Energy wood burning inserts and Pacific Energy wood burning fireplaces)
Purpose: These rails are designed to support the baffle and hold the brick in place. Often they will warp over time and if they not replaced you could cause damage to the baffle, flame shield and potentially to the top of your wood burning stove.
Installation tips: Remove the baffle before attempting to remove the rails. Often if the old rails are still inside the wood burning appliance they will be warped and may need a hammer to remove them.
Other Notes: Make sure the side gaskets are in good shape – often when you replace the rails you need to replace the gaskets located behind the rails. There are extra shipping charges for this product
