This is the official OEM part for glass retaining bars for a Super Series Pacific Energy wood stove and Pacific Energy wood insert.
PE Part Number: 80000366 (replaces old Pacific Energy number SSER.140)
Applicable Models: Super 27, Spectrum, Spectrum Classic, Mid-sized Insert and Super Insert Older pre -1995
- Pacific Energy Freestanding wood stoves serial numbers: 55,000 to 154,000
- Pacific Energy Wood Inserts serial numbers: 22,001 to 36,000
(check the part number, it may work in other Pacific Energy wood burning stove, Pacific Energy wood burning inserts).
Purpose: The steel bars that fit around the ceramic glass on a Pacific Energy Super Series wood burning stove and wood burning insert.
Installation tips: Be careful not to over tighten the screws when you are putting it back together. If you over tighten the screws you could crack the glass. You may need to use penetrating oil to get the old screws out.
Other Notes: It is very important not to over tighten these screws. Also, you may also want to purchase the gasket that goes around the glass (Meeco Glass Gasket).
