This is the replacement blower speed control for Pacific Energy wood burning stoves, Pacific Energy wood burning inserts and Pacific Energy wood burning fireplaces. This is a genuine Pacific Energy replacement part (its not an after-market copy).
PE Part Number: 80000908 (same as / replaces part #PERP.5025)
Applicable Models: Pacific Energy Vista, Vista Classic, Alderlea T4, Super 27, Spectrum, Spectrum Classic, Alderlea T5, Summit, Summit Classic, Alderlea T6, Vista Insert, Super Insert and Summit Insert, Neo 1.6 Insert (please check the part number, it may work in other Pacific Energy fireplaces).
Purpose: The speed control allows you to turn up the speed of the blower or to turn it down. Without it you may not achieve optimum efficiency from the wood stove or wood burning insert.
Installation tips: It is tricky and you may need to remove the blower when you are installing this component.
Other Notes: This rheostat does NOT come with the knob or spade connectors. This is to be used as a replacement part only. Item is highlighted in yellow in product image.
