This is an official Hearth & Home Technologies (Heatilator & Quadrafire) OEM factory replacement door gasket.  This is the genuine door gasket from Quadrafire – it is not an after market copy.

Quadrafire Part Number:  842-5130 (Same as 8425130)

Part Description: This gasket ensures that the door and glass seals tight. The part measures 3/8″ thick by 10′ long.

Purpose: The gasket ensures a proper seal in between the and the body of your pellet stove.  If the gasket is worn, then air can get in and that will affect the performance of the stove.

This is the official gasket replacement.  Its not a cheaper after-market alternative.
