This is the OEM lower baffle set for Rais Gabo, Pina & Vola Wood Stoves. This is the official Rais factory replacement lower baffle set.  This lower baffle set are genuine replacement parts from Rais – they are not after-market equivalents.

You May Want To Consider: Often times, customers also purchase the vermiculite firebrick liner set as well.

Purpose

The baffle is designed to keep the hot gas in the fire and it also adds air into the fire to ensure a clean, hot burn.  If the baffle is cracked or distorted make sure you replace it.  If you don’t you may run the risk of warping or cracking the stove.

Installation tips  

Make sure that you clean all the ashes out of the firebox. Use a vacuum (a shop vac with a drywall filter is best) to clean all the ashes out.
