Regency Part Description: This is a genuine Regency firebox baffle replacement that is found in the Regency U31-3 and U31-10 gas inserts. A fireplace baffle, also called a heat deflector plate, sits at the top of the firebox and deflects heat back into the firebox, preventing heat and waste gases from escaping the flue too quickly, which promotes secondary combustion and increased heat output.
