This is an OEM Regency Hand Held Remote (not receiver part in the fireplace) for the Regency GT / GTM/ GTMF compatible fireplaces and freestanding stoves.  If your fireplace came with this remote, then this is the replacement.  If your fireplace did not come with this remote, then chances are, it will not work as a retrofit or upgrade to your fireplace.  This is the genuine replacement handset remote from Regency Fireplaces.

Applicable Models: Works with many Regency gas fireplaces and freestanding stoves. Please check your user manual to ensure the part number matches.  Your Regency installation manual may also refer to this remote as a SIT Proflame 1 GTMFS Handset 0.584.026/0.584.023.  This handheld remote comes in silver as well as black.

Purpose: The remote control transmitter sends fireplace signals to the receiver of the remote in order to operate the fireplace.

Installation tips:  Consider replacing the entire fireplace remote control kit instead (handheld and receiver).  If your current remote control is not working, the most common issues are battery replacements, distance in between the two fireplace remote control components, and syncing both parts.
