Part Description: This is a genuine replacement door gasket for many Regency gas fireplaces, stoves and inserts. This is a tadpole style gasket that has the self-adhesive strip on one side for easy installation. This gasket is 12′. A gas fireplace’s door gasket ensures a tight, airtight seal between the door and the firebox, controlling airflow and preventing the escape of smoke, carbon monoxide, and other byproducts into the home. By sealing the unit, the gasket allows for optimal fire intensity, prevents damage from overheating, reduces glass soot, and maintains the appliance’s efficiency and lifespan.
