This is an OEM Regency Glass Gasket (Tadpole Style) that is compatible with many Regency gas inserts, stoves and fireplaces.  This is a genuine Regency replacement part that ships new in its original packaging, it is not an aftermarket copy.

Regency Part Number: 846-683 (replaces old part number 50803, 936-159 & 936-155).

Description:  Glass gasket for many models of Regency Gas inserts and fireplaces and measures 11′ in length x 2 1/2″ wide. You may need to cut some excess off for certain models.

Purpose: Glass gasket is a barrier between the glass and steel.  When the gasket starts to wear out, the unit will leak air and cause the fireplace to over fire which may lead to damage.  If the gasket fails, the glass in the fireplace may also crack.

Installation tips: Please ensure that the gasket is even all the way around the glass.
