This is a genuine official Regency Top Steel Baffle for their Radiant series of wood stoves and inserts that were made between November 1989 and September 1993. This is a genuine Regency replacement part and is new and comes in original packaging.

Part Description: This is the top steel baffle for older Regency R Series  wood burning stove and inserts.  It measures 3/8″ x 17 1/4″ x 12 1/4″.  This baffle will fit Regency R Series wood inserts manufactured from November 1989 until September 1993.

Please Note:

• If your current baffle measures  3/8 X 17 1/4 X 12 1/4 (with kink) manufactured from October 1987 to Oct. 1989. you will require the 846-107
• If your current baffle measures 1/4″ x 20 1/2″ x 9″ with has 4 notches in it and was manufactured from January 1986 until September 1987 – you require a different baffle (030-950). Please contact us for availability on baffle 030-950.

Purpose: Baffles in wood burning appliances are designed to keep the heat inside the firebox to ensure a clean burn.  They also protect the top of the appliance from over heating.  If they are damaged, cracked or deteriorating in any way, they should be replaced.

Installation tips: Often to there is a trick in replacing top baffles. It will take some time and patience.
