Purpose: It allows you to open the door without burning your hands

Installation tips: Remove the old handle with screw drivers and wrench, install new one.  Comes with instructions.

Other Notes: Its worth checking to see if the the Regency air tubes or glass gasket in your wood stove need replacing at the same time.
