This is an official OEM Renaissance Replacement part. This replacement cable is a retrofit part for some Renaissance Rumford R1000 wood fireplaces (see notes below).  This replacement part is new in original packaging and is a genuine Renaissance Fireplaces replacement part.

Part Description: Sometimes, the cable on the Rumford 1000 would break.  This is a replacement cable for this fireplace.  Please ensure Renaissance Recommends this cable for your application, as there are different versions of the R1000.  This Kevlar cable may be different than the original one that came with your fireplace.

This is the ‘rope’ cable that is only to be used on Series A Rumfords that have the smaller pulleys (newer units have larger pulleys and steel cable is to be used).

Applicable Models: Renaissance Rumford 1000 Series A Only.

Purpose: The Kevlar cable is designed to hold the counterweights making the guillotine door of the fireplace easier to open and close.
