This is an OEM RH Peterson Propane Gas Valve that is found in the RH Peterson G46 Vented Gas Log Sets (see applicable models below). This is a genuine RH Peterson (Real Fyre) replacement part that will ship new in its original packaging, it is not an aftermarket copy.

 RH Peterson / Real Fyre Part Number: SV-57 (Same as SV57)

Part Description: This is a genuine replacement propane (LP) gas valve for the RH Peterson G46 vented gas logs. This gas valve WILL NOT WORK on natural gas. A fireplace gas valve controls the flow of gas to the burner, enabling the fireplace to ignite and extinguish safely. It also regulates the amount of gas, affecting the flame height and heat output. Essentially, it acts as a switch and regulator for the gas supply to the fireplace.
