This is the official OEM replacement door handle replacement for the RSF Delta 2 wood fireplace. This is a new factory original part from RSF in original packaging.
RSF Part Number: 99.09.05.D (same as 990905D)
Applicable Models: RSF Delta 2 Wood Fireplaces made PRIOR to 2018. This handle replacement kit WILL NOT fit the RSF Delta Fusion (made post 2019). Please check the part number and the serial number of your fireplace prior to ordering.
Purpose: The door handle is made of wood and is designed to allow a cool surface that you can grab with gloves, designed to make sure the door closes tight on the wood fireplace. If the door is loose it will cause excessive air to come into the fireplace. With excessive air, it will be difficult to control the air flow into the stove. Excessive air could also lead to over-firing of the wood stove and the wood stove may warp or crack.
Installation tips: Take your time fitting the new door handle. You may need some fireplace and stove gasket cement & stove sealer to hold the door handle in place.
