This is an official OEM RSF and RSF Energy Replacement part.  This replacement top baffle is a new RSF factory part new in original packaging.

RSF Part Number: FR-2.8.D (replaces old part number A1602 & 2.8.D)

Part Description: RSF Delta Replacement Top Baffle.  If you have the Delta Fusion (made after 2020), this is not the correct part.  The part you require is FR-98.11.11.DF.

Applicable Models:

• RSF Delta
• RSF Delta 2

Purpose: Baffles in wood burning appliances are designed to keep the heat inside the firebox to ensure a clean burn.  They also protect the top of the appliance from over heating.  They also ensure proper air flow inside the fireplace.  If they are damaged or deteriorating in any way, they should be replaced.

Installation tips:  To remove the old baffle, first remove the secondary air tube. Simply unscrew the secondary air tube on the left side, slide the tube toward the right until the left end drops out of its hole.  Slide the tube back towards the left to get the right end out of its hole.  To remove the baffle, push up and slide it off the brackets. Replace both the baffle and the secondary air tube as you removed them and be sure to have the holes on the secondary air tube facing toward the front.  Do the reverse to put the new baffle back in place.  It will take some time and patience
