This is a genuine replacement door gasket kit for both the RSF Delta and Delta 2 wood burning fireplace.  This genuine RSF gasket kit ships new in its original packaging, it is not an aftermarket equivalent.

Please Note: The RSF Delta and Delta 2 wood burning fireplaces were manufactured until approximately 2018, if your RSF Delta is after 2018, you may require a different gasket kit.  Check the rating plate of your RSF Delta, if it is a RSF Delta Fusion this is not the gasket kit you need, you require gasket kit FO-GRK4

Purpose

The RSF Door Gasket is the graphite rope that goes around the inner channel of the cast iron door. When the gasket starts to wear out, the unit will leak air and cause the fireplace to over fire which may lead to damage.

Installation Tips

Please ensure that you remove all debris from the gasket channel by using a wire brush or something else.  It’s a steel door, you so can’t hurt it.  Drop a think bead of glue (not too much) to ensure gasket does not get hard.  Ensure ends are close together.

Note: Wood stove and fireplace door gaskets are also commonly referred to as “Door Sealers”
