This is an OEM RSF Door Handle Assembly that is compatible with the RSF Focus 250 and Pearl wood fireplaces. This is a factory original part from RSF that will ship new in its original packaging, it is not an aftermarket copy.

RSF Part Number: FR-99.09.99 (same as / replaces 99.09.07.FA & 99.09.01.FA)

Purpose: The door handle is made of wood and is designed to allow a cool surface that you can grab with gloves, designed to make sure the door closes tight on the wood fireplace.  If the door is loose it will cause excessive air to come into the fireplace.  With excessive air, it will be difficult to control the air flow into the stove.  Excessive air could also lead to over-firing of the wood stove and the wood stove may warp or crack.

Installation Tips: Take your time fitting the new door handle.  You may need some fireplace and stove gasket cement & stove sealer to hold the door handle in place.
