This is a genuine RSF replacement secondary air tube kit for RSF Onyx Wood Fireplaces. You can purchase all three air tubes as a kit, or purchase each tube individually.  These air tubes ship new in their original packaging, they are not an aftermarket equivalent.

Part Description: RSF Opel Secondary Air Tube Kit.  The Onyx / Onyx 2 has three air tubes and this kit contains all three (rear, middle, front). You can purchase the tubes individually as well.

Purpose: Secondary air tubes in wood burning appliances are designed to add preheated air to the top of the firebox.  The preheated air mixes with wood gases to create a clean burn ensuring optimal efficiency from your stove.  If they are damaged, cracked or deteriorating in any way, they should be replaced.

Installation tips:  Place a screwdriver (any style except flat head) into one of the air holes and tap it with a hammer/mallet to the left until the right end of the tube is freed.  To install a secondary air tube, reverse the above instructions.

IMPORTANT: All secondary air tubes must be in place for proper operation. Highlighted in yellow in product image.
