This is an official OEM RSF and RSF Energy Replacement part for many RSF Opel wood fireplaces.   This is a genuine replacement part from RSF Fireplaces.

Part Description: RSF Opel Bottom Ash Plug

Applicable Models:

• RSF Opel 2 (with ash pan installed)
• RSF Opel 2C (with ash pan installed)
• RSF Opel 3 (with ash pan installed)
• RSF Opel 3C (with ash pan installed)
• RSF Opel AP (with ash pan installed)

Purpose: The firebrick protects the fireplace from warping and cracking.  The bottom plug covers the ash system opening in certain Opel fireplaces.

Installation tips: Remove the existing brick as well as any ashes from the fireplace.  Ensure the fireplace is cold before attempting..

Other Notes: If the firebrick is cracked, it may still be okay.  But if it is falling apart or crumbling, it must be replaced.  Highlighted in yellow in product image.
