This is the genuine part from RSF that allows for an RSF Opel Refractory Brick Kit to be held in place (side bricks) for older RSF Opel’s made by RSF Energy.

IMPORTANT: These clips are sold individually, but if you are fully replacing your brick kit, and the original clips are not salvageable, you will want to order TWO of these clips as you need both to hold the side refractory bricks in place.

Part Description: RSF Opel 2000 Refractory Clips.

Purpose: The refractory clips are design to hold the refractory (firebricks) bricks in place for older RSF Opel 2000 fireplaces.

Installation tips:  Make sure that you clean all the ashes out of the firebox.  Use a vacuum (a shop vac with a drywall filter is best) to clean all the ashes out.  They are tricky to install, take some time.

Other Notes: Do not use a household vacuum and make certain that there are no embers in the ashes before vacuuming.  If you vacuum embers, you will risk having a fire in your vacuum.  Highlighted in yellow in product image.
