This is an official OEM RSF and RSF Energy Replacement Refractory Plug.  This replacement refractory brick ships new from RSF  in original packaging.

Part Description: RSF replacement brick for the ash system (aka Ash Plug) in the Topaz, Pearl, and Chameleon wood burning fireplaces.

Applicable Models:

• RSF Topaz Wood Fireplace
• RSF Pearl Wood Fireplace
• RSF Chameleon Wood Fireplace

Purpose: The firebricks are designed to protect the fireplace from warping.  They also keep the heat in the fire to ensure a cleaner burn.

Installation Tip: You may want to use an ash vacuum to clean out the ashes when replacing the front arch firebrick.  Consider using an ash vacuum instead of a household vacuum as these have better filters and will not catch on fire should an ember be cleaned up accidentally.  The replacement part is highlighted in yellow in product image.
