Part Description: RSF Wood Burning Fireplace Steel Baffle.  This part sits above the fiber baffle

Applicable RSF Wood Fireplace Models:

• RSF Focus 250
• RSF Pearl

Please check the part number with your manual, as it may work in other RSF wood burning fireplaces as well.

Purpose: Baffles in wood burning appliances are designed to keep the heat inside the firebox to ensure a clean burn.  They also protect the top of the appliance from over heating.  They also ensure proper air flow inside the fireplace.  If they are damaged or deteriorating in any way, they should be replaced.

Installation tips:

1. First, remove the secondary air tube at the top front of the firebox. To do so, unscrew the bracket located on the left side of the tube.
2. Then place the baffle (11.9.T) above the other two tubes and ensure its proper orientation: narrow part towards the rear and grooves towards the bottom.
3. Reinstall the first tube and screw it in place. It will take some time and patience
