This is an OEM RSF Thermal Switch Assembly or sometimes called a thermodisc or thermoswitch. This is an official OEM RSF replacement part new in original packaging.  This is not an after-market equivalent.

Part Number: FR-13.HB5.1.DNP (same as 13.HB5.1.DNP same as FO-FDHC6-A02 – these are the same parts).

Part Description: RSF Thermodisc/Thermoswitch for RSF HB5N blowers

Check the part number, it may work in other RSF wood burning fireplaces.

Purpose: This part is a temperature control – once the wood burning stove reaches temperature, this snap disc allows the power to flow through it and to the blower.  If the temperature of the stove drops, it shuts off the power to the blower.  This part is often called a snap disc, fan sensor, thermodisc and thermoswitch.

Installation Tips: It is tricky and you may need to move the bottom louvres of the fireplace to gain access to the thermodisc/thermoswitch.
