Part Description: SBI (Century) wood burning stove secondary air tube

Applicable Models: SBI (Century)  wood stoves (this part may work in other SBI wood burning stoves or inserts).

Purpose: Air tubes are designed to bring air into the top of the firebox of a wood burning appliance.  The air mixes with the gases off the wood and creates secondary combustion.  Without the air tubes, the stoves will run very inefficiently and will add more particulate to a chimney system, which increases the risk of chimney fires.

Installation tips: Often to there is a trick in replacing the air tubes, often you have to put one end in first.
