This is an OEM Osburn 2400 Baffle Insulation. This insulation will ship new in its original packaging, it is not an aftermarket copy.

Part Description: Top baffle insulation replacement in the Osburn 2400 wood stove.  This baffle insulation does wear out over time and requires replacement.  Each Osburn package includes one ‘1’ blanket only.  Your wood burning appliance may require ‘2’ of these.  Each baffle blanket measures 16 3/8″ X 25″ X 1/2″.

Applicable Models: SBI Osburn 2400 Wood Stoves.  Please check the part number in your manual, as it may work in other SBI wood burning stoves, and wood burning inserts as well.

Purpose: Top Baffle Blankets in wood burning appliances are designed to keep the heat inside the firebox to ensure a clean burn.  They also protect the top of the appliance from over heating.  They do need to be replaced on a regular basis.

Installation tips: Often to there is a trick in replacing top baffle blankets.  It will take some time and patience.
